Moochy Sphere

My Blog is quite simply all about my many interests. The main theme was originally intended to be about my music, producing and Progressive House, but it seems to have become diluted recently. You will see that Fungi features heavily, Retro Gaming, and my Travels. What it ISN'T is an online diary. All my posts contain pictures, links, anecdotes and items of interest to me, which make my life fun. I hope to attract people with similar interests - and please do leave a comment somewhere, Thanks!

My Tracks

This post is a feedback point for my track so that people can leave a comment (no expletives please!). I've put this little flash player in, which simply plays the mp3 directly from the host server without navigating away from this page.

Autumn Fun :

You should be able to see the player just above. If all you can see is a white strip, it's likely you need the flash plugin installed - get it here.

Please leave a comment below - i value your criticism! If youre also an unsigned producer, please feel free to add a link to your own pages and i'll give you some feedback myself. If you like, I'll add a link to your own site here in my blog. Thanks for listening!

Ah, Autumn Fun. This takes me back to the Autumn of 2004, Ronnie Barker was still with us, Arsenal were the so-called 'Invincables' and you could buy 2 pints of lager, 20 fags and a bag of crisps and still get change from a fiver.

    Hello Moochy.

I am currenlty taking the second listen to your track as I write this. You have quite a good sound on this and you have some beautiful sounds also. There are a few points I need to make. I don't think this track goes anywhere, you need some more chord progressions to build up. I think you should concentrate on more of a build up. I know that a lot of music that djs/producers play can repeat a lot and still be enjoyable. I think you just don't have enough of a catchy melody to achieve this. Try shortening your track or put your mind on your song structure. Don't rush your track. Put yourself in the listeners seat and play your track to see if there is anything you really need to change.

    Keep it up.

    Thanks,
    Daniel.

This guy taught me everything I know about Cubase, Reason and PC's in general. I like the delay on the handclaps and the panning. I'm into hand claps at the minute for some reason. One day Moochy will be overthrown by his apprentice........but not today.
